Michal is a visual artist and educator who lives and works in Indianapolis. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from Purdue University in 1991 with a dual concentration in Fine Arts and Art Education. He earned a Master of Arts in Fine Arts degree from University of Indianapolis in 2002. In 2009, Michal was selected as one of Lilly Endowment's Creative Renewal Fellows.
